Team Member Statuses in Mooven: What They Mean

Statuses help admins understand whether a user has access to the platform or is still completing their account setup.

Status: Pending

What it means:

The team member has been invited to Mooven but has not yet accepted the invitation or completed account setup.

What this impacts:

  • The user cannot log in to Mooven yet

  • They do not have access to any teams or programmes

Recommended action:

  • Ask the user to check their inbox for the Mooven welcome email

  • Have them check their spam or junk folder if they can’t find it

  • Resend the invitation if required


Status: Active

What it means:

The team member has accepted the invitation, set up their account, and can access Mooven based on their assigned role and permissions.

What this impacts:

  • The user can log in successfully

  • They can access assigned teams and programmes

  • Their access level matches the role and usage type set by the admin

No action is required once a user is Active.


Admin Tips

  • If a user is unable to log in, always confirm their status first.

  • Password resets can only be completed once a user is Active.

  • Ensure the correct email address is used when sending invitations to avoid delays.
