Overview of Shifts in the Operations Hub

The Shifts page in Operations Hub allows you to view, manage, and action scheduled and overdue shifts using a list and map view.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Shifts Page

  1. Open Operations Hub.

  2. Select Shifts from the top navigation (next to Vehicles and Notification settings).


2. Search, Sort, and Filter Shifts

  1. Use the Search field (top-left) to find shifts by keyword (e.g. job name or address).

  2. Select Importance to sort shifts by priority.

  3. Click Filter to refine shifts by status, time, or other available criteria.


3. Review Action Required Shifts

  1. Look at the Action required section on the left panel.

  2. Identify overdue or urgent shifts highlighted in red.

  3. Review key details including:

    • Shift status (e.g. Start overdue)

    • Date and time window

    • Job name (e.g. Water Works)

    • Address


4. Review All Scheduled Shifts

  1. Scroll to the All shifts section.

  2. View upcoming or scheduled shifts highlighted in blue.

  3. Check shift details such as:

    • Status (e.g. Scheduled)

    • Date and time

    • Job name and location


5. Use the Map View

  1. View shift locations plotted on the map to the right.

  2. Click a map pin to see which shift it relates to.

  3. The selected shift will correspond with the highlighted item in the left panel.


6. Change Map Display

  1. Toggle between Map and Satellite views at the top of the map.

  2. Select Map layers to show or hide additional location information.

  3. Use zoom controls or gestures to focus on specific areas.


7. Expand or Focus the Map

  1. Click the full-screen icon in the top-right of the map to expand the view.

  2. Use the Street View icon (yellow figure) to inspect the location if needed.


8. Take Action on a Shift

  1. Select a shift from the left panel.

  2. Review its status and details.

  3. Proceed with the required action (e.g. start shift, investigate overdue status, or contact assigned personnel).


Tips

  • Red highlights indicate urgent or overdue actions.

  • Blue highlights indicate scheduled and upcoming work.

  • Use filters regularly to manage large volumes of shifts efficiently.
