Conditions and events in Mooven highlight the location of impactful events near your site, helping you to understand factors affecting traffic behaviour.
What types of conditions and events are recorded?
Mooven classifies conditions and events into five categories:
Closures
Events
Roadworks
Traffic incidents
Weather
These categories can be filtered by clicking on the category name, and reported events are shown by start date, aligned to performance metrics below. Further information about each reported event is available by hovering over the event.
Where does this data come from?
We provide condition and event data from TomTom and HERE services. We are also able to present other incident data - contact us if there are any sources you would like to see reported here! In the ‘More…’ button, you can filter data sources to be presented.
Organisations can choose what event data is presented for your sites - click on the ‘Settings’ cog in the bottom left corner, and select the ‘Data sources’ menu to disable or enable data sources that feed into your sites.
Annotations
Each event is also represented on the graphs in your View panel.
This makes it really easy to see where there may have been an impact on your site due to a particular event.
For more detail on each annotation, open the annotation sidebar.
Viewing conditions and events on your site
Conditions and events are on by default when viewing the last 24 hours. When viewing time periods greater than this annotations will be toggled off on your map and graph. This is due to the potential for making it difficult to decipher multiple events and conditions at the same time.
Turning on conditions and events for these longer time periods is available within the panel.
It's possible to show all events on the map and charts by toggling on the "Show all on map" and "show all on charts" toggles.
Alternatively, individual incidents can be selected for display on the map and graph by selecting the incident within the incident panel.
