Step by step guide to creating an Impact Assessment report

Follow the steps below to create your project's Impact Assessment:

If this is your first time using Mooven's impact assessments, read more impact assessments and what they include here, before stepping through the below guide to generating a report.

Accessing Impact Assessments


You will find Impact Assessment reporting in the Edit panel:

  1. Click the Mooven logo in the top left to go home. On the main navigation menu here you will see all sites available you will see the scorecard menu item

  2. Click on the Site you wish to create an Impact Assessment for. You will enter a main view of your project with the option to toggle between View, Plan, Edit on the left-hand side toolbar.

  3. On the left Side Toolbar, Click on Edit.

Steps to generating an Impact Assessment


  1. Within 'Edit', on the left had side bar, click on 'Impact assessment', here you will see the prompts to click through and provide the data inputs required.

2. Area of disruption - Add a disruption area' that you would like the report centred around. Toggle between the route selectors to view the routes and areas that may be in your disruption zone.

3. To do this, click 'Define area', and then select the location on the map to the left with your mouse, to draw in freehand the road area you wish to report on - click once on the starting point and click again to end the selection of your disruption area.

Once you have selected the desired length and area of the disruption area. Click Save Disruption Area. The area will now show on the map.

4. Planned occupation dates - Next you will need to enter the estimated planned dates.

Click 'Add planned dates', you will see a prompt to add planned dates. This will ensure data points such as public transport disruption is aligned to your reporting needs. This occupation dates area has a date select tool you will need to complete with either known or estimated date ranges of your project.

5. Email Recipients - Add recipients of impact assessment by entering the email address. Enter as many email recipients as you like by clicking the + symbol after each entry.

  1. Review the data you have added and then tick the box to advise us if you would like a volume analysis within your report too.

  2. Click 'send impact assessment' to finalise your request.
