Ver-mac Setup Guide

Step-by-step instructions are provided below for connecting to and setting up Ver-mac PCMS boards.

Step One: Share access with Mooven

Before you can connect to your Ver-mac board, Mooven needs to be granted access to your boards.

To do this:

  1. Identify the boards you would like to share with Mooven and collect their serial numbers.

  2. Email your Ver-mac account contact requesting that access be shared with vermac-integration-account@mooven.com.

Once access has been shared, you will be able to connect to your boards within Mooven.

Step Two: Connecting to a Ver-mac board in Mooven

2.1 Go to Smart VMS

Within Mooven, navigate to the monitoring site that will be used to control your PCMS sign. From here, select 'SmartVMS' in the top navigation, then select 'add Smart VMS'.

2.2 Select Ver-mac from the available board manufacturers

Once you have given your board a name that will be used to identify the PCMS board, select Ver-mac from the 'Select Board Manufacturer' drop-down menu.

2.3 Find your board ID

To connect to a Ver-mac board, you will need to find Ver-mac's unique ID for the board. The easiest way to find this is to:

  1. Log in to Ver-mac's JamLogic portal.

  2. Select the board you wish to connect to from your list of available boards by selecting the yellow arrow, as shown in the image below.

  3. Within the website URL, you can find the board id, as shown in the second image below.

2.4 Add the board ID and test the connection

Add the board ID and select 'Test Connection'

.

If the board has connected successfully, you will see this message.

The most likely failure message will be an invalid user name and password.

2.5 Error messages

The two most likely error messages are either an access error or an issue with the specific board.

If you experience an access error, please verify that the board has been successfully shared with Mooven. If you continue to experience issues, please contact our support team.

If there is an issue with the board, the error message will warn you of the issues but let you complete the configuration and setup.

Step three - Message Configuration
