Messaging in the Mooven app

How to use the messaging feature in the Mooven app

Mooven allows you to communicate directly with Control rooms about your particular shifts. You can inform of the status of your shift, highlight any issues or ask questions.

Messaging functionality can be found within the context of a shift.

Access messaging

First open up the shift from the "My shifts" page that you need to communicate about.

Tap the "Messages" button at the bottom of the screen.

This will show all messages in regards to this shift.

Sending messages

You have 3 options in terms of sending messages

Creating a new message

Simply tap in the text input box to create a new message.

Responding to a message or notification

To respond to a message or notification, tap on the reply arrow. This will create a quoted response to the selected message/notification.

You'll also be able to select from 3 quick response options to make responding to messages much faster.

Creating a new urgent message

It's also possible to mark messages as urgent.

Messages can be marked as urgent by checking the "Mark as urgent" checkbox.

This means that your message will be highlighted to the control room as important.
