Your Traffic monitoring site list now makes it easier to find the sites you need and keep the list tidy. You can filter sites by the type of data they hold, see at a glance which sites are actively monitoring, and archive, unarchive or delete sites without contacting us.
See which sites are monitoring
In Traffic monitoring > Sites, a green dot next to a site name means floating vehicle monitoring is active within that site. Hover over the dot to confirm.
Sites without a green dot are no longer greyed out. A site with only count or hardware data is still a working site, so it now appears alongside everything else.
Filter your site list
You can sort the list by Last edited or Name using the dropdown at the top. To narrow it down further:
In Traffic monitoring > Sites, click the filter icon (funnel) next to the sort options.
In Display sites with the following data types, turn on the types you want to see:
Floating vehicle routes: sites that contain floating vehicle routes. Narrow this further with Active floating vehicle routes (being actively monitored) and Inactive floating vehicle routes (not being actively monitored).
Vehicle counts: sites with SCATS or other uploaded vehicle count sources.
Hardware monitored data: sites with counts or routes from ANPR, machine vision cameras or other hardware.
Click Confirm.
Tip: to see only the sites you are monitoring right now, leave Active floating vehicle routes on and turn everything else off.
Quick actions for each site
Click the … menu beside any site in the list to:
Floating vehicle monitoring active? Turn monitoring on or off for the whole site.
Edit monitoring schedule: opens the site's details page, where you can start monitoring or add a schedule.
Archive site: keeps the site's data but removes it from your list.
Delete site: removes the site.
The same options are in the … menu at the top right of every page inside a site.
Any user with Edit access to a site can archive, unarchive or delete it.

Archive a site
Archive a site when a project is finished but you want to keep its data.
Click … beside the site, or at the top right inside the site.
Select Archive site.
Archiving turns off all monitoring on the site and hides it from your site list. Data already collected is kept.
Find and unarchive a site
Turn on Show archived at the bottom of the site list. Archived sites appear greyed out with an ARCHIVED tag.
Click … beside the site and select Unarchive site.
Unarchiving doesn't restart monitoring. To collect data again, open the … menu and turn on Floating vehicle monitoring active?, or set a schedule with Edit monitoring schedule.
You can also open an archived site directly. A banner at the top confirms it is archived, with an Unarchive this site link.
Delete a site
Click … beside the site and select Delete site. Deleting stops all monitoring and removes the site from your list. If you delete a site by mistake, contact us and we can restore it, but data for the period it was deleted can't be recovered. If you might need the site again, archive it instead.
