Sharing a Public View
Updated over a week ago

Sharing a Public View can be useful in informing and engaging external or community parties. Using the steps above, create a public link to view your saved view.

Discover how to create a public view with ease using our self-service feature by following these steps:

On the left Side Toolbar, within View, you will enter the main saved views you would like to access quickly, easily and share with the public.

  1. Click 'Çreate Saved View' - think about which parts of your project or worksite you want to gain quick access to review data or share with other users.

  2. Enter 'View Name' i.e. 'Worksite' or 'Çustomer Experience Team view'

  3. Select how you would like to share with others;

    1. Select Public - This enables any user with the link is able to see the data, this can be useful in large events or community consultation

Over time this can be useful to analyse project performance i.e. Creating a full site view by selecting all routes you have created on your site, in addition to a view of your worksite or detour route, to quickly assess traffic impacts and make comparisons.

Once saved, you can reconfigure your view and the frequency the data is reported on i.e. You may need only the last 24 hours of your worksite and need to share it with a key stakeholder.

Tips to Sharing Views

  • Review permissions regularly - make sure to add users only to the site they should have visibility on. One of Mooven's many strengths is the ability to add an uncapped number of users. This provides transparency for everyone involved in a project whether that be

    • Asset owners

    • Project owners

    • Traffic managers

    • Construction team

    • or anyone else interested in the outcome of a project.

However, with the ability to full self-serve and create sites, often users will need to have varying levels of permissions and feature access.

  • User terminology - team members can access all sites while guests are invited to individual sites. If you are only temporarily sharing project information, a shared tailored view may be an easier way to communicate targeting information.

  • Editing users - You can edit users, user permissions or shared views at any time or stage of your Mooven experience. Our customers find this can be particularly useful in the planning stages of a project when various parties can experiment with detours and potential roads of impact.. .or in the delivery stages when you want to share a tailored view of your project KPIs with a team or stakeholder.
